Supermarkets Of course supermarkets have always had vegan items, but mainly as ingredients, but now, particularly the larger stores, they all have wide ranges of ready made meals and food items, including pizza, burgers, cheeses, meat-replacements, ice-cream, desserts and often cakes, and many other items for you to try, or stick to ingredients and make your own things - up to you... Labelling is much improved, many label alcohol and toiletries too. ranges depend on store size, and many are adding new lines and items. Aldi – has some vegan things., range seems to be increasing and labelling is lately improved Asda- a good range of vegan items, including cake. Coop – labels vegan items, range varies depending on store, also own brand toiletries Farmfoods – has frozen vegan foods., some own brand some branded, very good if on a budget, though difficult to get to without a car. Iceland – has a large and quite nice range of vegan ready made food and ingredients such as chikn strips and other meat-replacements.. Lidl – has some vegan things., range seems to be increasing and labelling is lately improved Marks&Spencers -has a good range of ready made items and ingredients. Morrisons - many vegan items in the chiller and frozen aisle, and plant-milks and spread. Some morrisons have cake, not spotted in Plymouth yet, but keep an eye out and ask. Riverford – has some vegan items Rodgers - Burrington Way - bargains, has things close to usebydates so range varies. Sainsburys – many vegan items in the chiller and frozen aisle, dairy-free cheese, plant milks, cakes. and plant-milks and spread. Own-brand alcohol labelled if vegan. Tesco – many vegan items in the chiller and frozen aisle, also dairy-free cheese, and plant-milks and spread, and cake. SalonsThese are said to to have some cruelty-free and vegan products - but maybe not all their products so do double-check.
